What is the SonicTC platform?

SonicTC is RTE's acoustic measurement and test platform: one software for three test disciplines (noise, material, process) plus a modular hardware family from lab device to 100 % inline. Configure instead of code — your engineers parameterise test sequences graphically.

Which SonicTC modules exist?

Three software modules — SonicTC.NVH (noise testing), SonicTC.AT (material resonance) and SonicTC.DSP (process monitoring) — plus the SonicTC Test Equipment hardware family with SonicTC.Cube (lab), SonicTC.Line (inline system) and Sonic MLNR (portable test hammer).

Can I keep my existing sensors?

Yes. SonicTC is hardware-agnostic and works with industry-standard sensors (Brüel & Kjær, Polytec, PCB, Endevco, Kistler and many more). We qualify your sensor portfolio and integrate it — no vendor lock-in.

Which interfaces and protocols are supported?

More than 25 communication protocols out of the box: PROFINET, OPC UA, EtherNet/IP, Modbus, TCP/IP, RS232 and many more. Server/client architecture for distributed test stations with real-time sync to PLC, MES and ERP.
