Leading manufacturers rely on SonicTC.
One platform. Three disciplines.
Other vendors solve one problem. SonicTC solves three: noise testing, material testing and process monitoring – with one software, one UI, one database. Plus a platform backbone for integration, smart factory, data management and smart components.
Noise Testing
NVH analysis for end-of-line and inline testing. Objectively evaluate airborne and structure-borne noise on motors, transmissions, pumps and actuators.

Six reasons that make the depth-difference – scientific, hardware-agnostic, from lab to line.
Science at the core.
Spin-off of the Fraunhofer Institute. Every procedure in SonicTC is based on applied research. Every year a share of revenue is reinvested in R&D.
No lock-in. Full freedom.
SonicTC works with your existing sensors – Brüel & Kjær, Polytec, PCB and many more. No vendor lock-in.
From lab to line.
The same software scales from lab bench to 100% inline. Test definitions and archives stay compatible.
AI that hears the difference.
Self-learning evaluation and anomaly detection increase discrimination. Less false-rejects, faster ramp-up.
Test before you invest.
TaaS or rental: acoustic test technology without capex risk. From idea to insight in weeks, not months.
Reliably reachable.
By phone, remote or on-site – worldwide. Maintenance, calibration and parameter care under a service contract with defined response times.
How our customers deploy SonicTC.
From a Tier-1 brake manufacturer with 100% inline resonance testing to e-drive OEMs with end-of-line NVH – real examples with measurable results.
100% inline resonance testing on passenger brake discs.
Before commissioning: destructive sampling on 0.5% of parts, 14-day storage, manual evaluation. After SonicTC.AT: 100% of parts tested inline, eigenfrequency ±0.3 Hz, Q-factor and damping evaluated automatically, gapless audit trail for every part.

Four decades of acoustic test technology.
From the Fraunhofer Institute into the production lines of leading industrial customers.
Acoustic test technology at a glance.
From sound generation to noise and vibration analysis to application examples – in just a few minutes.
Acoustics helps! Effective, flexible and customer-oriented.
When a delivery and production stop requires immediate failure analysis – acoustic test technology delivers.
A delivery stop due to quality defects at the customer requires immediate action. You cannot look inside metallic parts to see if they are free from cracks and structural damage. CT methods allow insight, but are only practical for laboratory use.
In an urgent customer case, a fast test solution was needed to secure delivery capability. The challenge: no defective reference parts available for system training.
By parameterizing against defect-free reference parts, all deviating parts could be filtered out. The flagged parts were subsequently examined metallurgically and by CT – the acoustic results were confirmed. Delivery capability and quality monitoring were secured.
