Application Engineer Acoustics (m/f/d)
You translate customer requirements into robust acoustic test solutions – from feasibility study to series commissioning.
Your role.
The interface between customer, lab and line.
As application engineer you are the trusted technical contact for our customers. You analyze parts in our acoustic lab in Pfinztal, design test concepts with SonicTC and accompany the solution into three-shift production worldwide.
You work closely with sales, hardware engineering and our customers in automotive, e-mobility, foundry and machinery – on-site in Pfinztal and globally.

What you'll do.
- Run feasibility studies on customer parts in our acoustic lab
- Design and parameterize SonicTC test systems (resonance, NVH, DSP)
- On-site commissioning and acceptance at customer sites in Europe and worldwide
- Train operators, maintenance and quality staff
- Provide second-level technical support for installed systems
- Contribute to the evolution of our methods and workflows
What you bring.
- Degree in acoustics, mechatronics, mechanical or electrical engineering, physics or similar
- Solid understanding of signal processing, FFT, resonance analysis and statistics
- Hands-on experience with measurement and test technology (studies, internships, working student)
- Enjoy direct customer contact and travel (typically 20–30 %)
- Fluent German, very good English
- Self-driven, structured and communicative way of working
