An extended variant of the crank angle analysis: the LDV signal is acquired continuously through a measure grid and analysed while the measurement is still running, while a second measurement and storage workflow is started in parallel through a workflow call. The configuration thus demonstrates parallel measurements on the same channel — both acquisitions run simultaneously, each with an embedded crank angle analysis.

  1. Engine Cycle Testing

    Main sequence with a parallel second measurement.

    Start → signal trigger LDV → measure grid LDV (with embedded analysis) → call "Measure and Store" (parallel measurement) → end; error flow present.

  2. Measure and Store

    Second measurement running in parallel, with storage.

    Start → measure grid LDV (with embedded analysis) → store → end.

  3. Crank Angle Analysis / Section

    Characteristic blocks for the complete signal and for measurement sections.

    Characteristic start → rectifier → signal shift → peak detection → engine cycle detection → characteristic end.
